Redesign a fava bean snack to have more personality and stand out on shelf.

Nuttee Bean Co. was looking to improve the personality of its brand, Favalicious. They wanted to have a hand-drawn feel and bring in a character to represent the beans themselves since fava beans are not super recognizable. We photographed and retouched some of the beans to be bright and show texture, and I illustrated a bean character (affectionately named Favian the Fava). Switching from a mostly white package, the colorful, bold background color now indicates flavor, and illustrated ingredients support it. All that was left was for John Tomkiw to write some stellar back panel copy to make this a fully successful revamp.
